A Genesee County Veteran Support Levy Increase proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Genesee County, which is in Michigan where it was approved.

This proposal authorized Genesee County to increase property taxes by 0.1 mill ($0.1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for ten years in order to fund assistance to veterans. The estimated first year revenue from this tax was $880,523.[1]
