This measure asked residents again to approve bond money for expanding and remodeling the library. The bond would have been in the amount of $2.8 million which would have gone towards updating facilities and add additional buildings to the library allowing for a larger collection. If approved, an additional tax of $.41 per $100 of assessed value would have been added to the local property tax rate.[2]
