A Prairie Green Township Road Levy Increase measure was on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the township of Prairie Green which is in Iroquois County.

This measure sought to increase the current property tax to one set at a rate of .94 percent of taxable property in the township in order to further pay for road purposes as needed in the township.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall the present tax extension limit of .6600% of the value, as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue, on the taxable real property in Prairie Green Township for road purposes be increased to a maximum tax extension limit of 0.94% of the value on such taxable real property?[3]
