A South Western School District Bond Measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the South Western school district which is in Pickaway and Franklin Counties.

The measure was approved overall.
Franklin County

  • YES: 13,700 (62.28%) Approveda
  • NO: 8,298 (37.72%)[1]

Pickaway County

  • YES 4 (11.76%)
  • NO 30 (88.24%)Defeatedd[2]

This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $148 million in order to pay for a new school facility as well as pay for additional repairs and furnishings as needed. A levy of $.29 per $100 of assessed property value would also be implemented to pay for the bond.[3]
