A York Township Property Tax Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Union County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.
This question authorized the Township of York to renew a property tax levy of up to 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund operating expenses of the Township.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | A renewal of a tax for the benefit of York Township for the purpose of CURRENT OPERATING EXPENSE at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[1][2] | ” |
