Ketchikan Proposition 1, Hotel Tax Increase (October 2009)
Proposition 1, Transient Occupancy Tax Increase was on the October 6, 2009 ballot in Ketchikan Gateway Borough.
This proposition sought to raise the transient occupancy tax 3%. It was set at a rate of 4%, but the proposition would have raised it to 7%.
Unofficial results: This proposition failed with a vote of 53.05% against.[1]
