Ballotpedia:Judicial selection commissions project
This project has been archived. For ongoing projects on Ballotpedia, see our scope.
About the project
This project is designed to provide an explanation of commissions charged with selecting state judges. Many states have judicial selection commissions that are regulated by the rules of a constitution, others have ones created by executive order, while some have no commission at all. We hope to give our readers a better understanding of the process that goes into selecting judges for the state courts.
