Anthony R. Quagliano is an at-large member of the Consolidated School District 158 Board of Education in Illinois. He ran unopposed and won re-election in the general election on April 7, 2015.[1][2]

The Consolidated School District 158 election featured three of seven board of education seats up for general election on April 7, 2015. The seats held by incumbents William T. Geheren, Kevin Gentry and Anthony R. Quagliano were on the ballot. All three incumbents ran unopposed and won re-election.

When these seats were up for election in 2011, the same incumbents ran unopposed. The candidates in the 2013 election also ran unopposed.

Demographics

Both counties outperformed the rest of Illinois in terms of higher education achievement in 2013. The United States Census Bureau found that 31.7 percent of Kane County residents and 32.4 percent of McHenry County residents aged 25 years and older had attained a bachelor's degree compared to 31.4 percent for Illinois as a whole. The median household income for Kane County was $69,530 and for McHenry County was $76,145, while it was $56,797 for the entire state. The poverty rates in Kane and McHenry Counties were 11.1 percent and 7.7 percent, respectively, compared to 14.1 percent statewide.[5][6]
