Cromaine Library Levy Renewal and Bond Measure (August 2010)

Two Cromaine Library Measures were on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the Cromaine library district area which is in Livingston County.

The library levy measure sought to increase the local levy to a rate of $1.52 per $1,000 of assessed property for ten years to help provide funds for general costs of the library.
This measure was approved

  • YES 3,178 Approveda
  • NO 2,565

The library bond measure sought to implement a bond in the amount of $23.955 million in order to help expand the library by constructing and equipping new buildings. A levy of $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed property would also be levied to pay for the bonds.[1]
This measure was defeated
