There was a Union County Sales Tax Increase measure on the February 2 ballot in Union County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 2,059 (52.26%)Approveda
  • NO 1,881 (47.74%)[1]

This measure sought to raise the city sales tax by 1 percent, this extra money will go towards public facility purposes, mainly the new courthouse.[2]
