Andrea M. Schleifer (Democratic Party) was a judge for the 12th Subcircuit of the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. She left office on July 31, 2022.
Schleifer ran for re-election for the 12th Subcircuit judge of the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. She won in the retention election on November 6, 2018.
She was appointed in 2010 and re-elected in 2012.
Education
Schleifer received her B.A. degree from Indiana University and her J.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.[1]

Schleifer worked as a private practice attorney for 31 years prior to her judicial appointment in 2010.[2]

Schleifer was elected on Nov. 6, 2012 to fill the seat vacated by Judge Mary Katherine Rochford. Schleifer defeated James Paul Pieczonka with 53.7 percent of the vote. She previously won the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012, receiving 61.78 percent of the vote.[3][4][5]
