Augusto Amador was a member of the Newark City Council in New Jersey, representing East Ward. Amador assumed office on July 1, 1998. Amador left office on June 30, 2022.

Amador ran for re-election to the Newark City Council to represent East Ward in New Jersey. Amador won in the general runoff election on June 12, 2018.

Amador was first elected to the council in 1998.[1]
