Whitehill ran for election to the Fifth District Court of Appeals.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014. [1][2] 

2012

Whitehill won 26.31 percent of the vote in the Republican primary. Since no candidate received more than 50%, he and David Evans competed in a runoff on July 31, 2012.[3] Whitehall lost the runoff to Evans, receiving 48.61 percent of the vote to Evan's 51.38.[4]
