Charles Bishop
Charles Bishop is a former Republican member of the Alabama State Senate, representing the District 5 from 2006 to 2010. He previously served in the chamber from 1983-1990.

Bishop was eligible for re-election but did not run in 2010. He instead ran for District 14 of the Alabama House of Representatives. He was defeated in the June 1 primary by Richard Baughn.
2006
On November 7, 2006, Bishop won election to the 5th District Seat in the Alabama State Senate, defeating opponent Larry B. Cagle (D).[1]
Bishop raised $233,074 for his campaign, while Cagle raised $161,771.[2]
