Chris Glover was a member of the Mesa City Council in Arizona, representing District 4. He was first elected to the council in 2011. In April 2014, the Mesa City Council appointed him to serve as vice mayor.[1] Glover did not file to run for re-election in 2018.

Elections for the city council of Mesa, Arizona were scheduled to take place on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. Because one candidate filed to run, the general election was called off. In District 4, incumbent Chris Glover ran unopposed.[2]
