Our district is facing a huge deficit in the coming years, an ineffective board, and a woke majority on that board. Let's focus on the basics and get our kids job/military/college ready. Period.
  • Bring more of the focus on students and teachers. Focus on the basics like math, reading, science, geography, and history, the rest will take care of itself.
  • We need to take a hard look at our spending. We are facing an enormous fiscal deficit in the years to come. Time to cut our budget.
  • We need to get in line with parental values. We need to ditch the woke ideologies on the doorstep of our schools. Let parents handle parenting, while the district can focus on the ABC's and 123's.
I am excited for what our youth will bring in the future. I am concerned that we are not focused on what matters. We should be focusing on academics, yet we increasingly find ourselves distracted from that aim.

Let's empower our teachers to do more. They earned a degree in education. Let them create curricula that conform with state and district standards. Find out which teachers are most effective and mimic them.

Let's empower our parents by giving them the choice to choose where to spend their child's allotted funds. Schools will work hard to lure discerning parents from around the district.

Empower property tax payers by skimming the fat off the budget. Let them know that their tax dollars are being put to good use.

It is time for the people, not the unions and elites to decide. Vote Murray for ASD School Board in 2023.
