In a candidate survey, Micciche commented on the district's relationship with Superintendent Mike Miles, saying:
“ | The current relationship between Superintendent Miles and some Trustees is very strained. I have a working relationship with every member of the Board and Superintendent Miles. It’s incumbent on all of us to work together to improve the lives and education of our students. This will involve better communication and more trust between the Board and Superintendent Miles. We need to rebuild trust by finding common ground.[4] | ” |
