Dean Debroux
Dean P. Debroux was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 1 of the Wisconsin State Senate.[1]
Biography
Debroux graduated from Appleton East High School in 1981. Debroux then worked in a factory for eight years. He served in the Wisconsin National Guard for 20 years. Debroux earned a bachelor's in special education in 1994 and a master’s in 2004.[2]

- Excerpt: "My top priorities include developing a balanced approach to cleaning up the ground and lake water in our district and investing in growing our small businesses while developing a 21st Century educational system. I will work hard to make sure that everyone has access to affordable health care and that a woman's decisions about contraception are between herself and her doctor."

Elections for 17 seats in the Wisconsin State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 12, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Dean Debroux ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Frank Lasee ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Lasee defeated Debroux in the general election. Richard Skare (D) was removed from the ballot before the primary elections.[4][1][5]
