I am a husband, father to six young children as well as a fourth generation commercial fisherman and veteran who has spent the last 21 years as a local church pastor serving my community.
  • Freedom is the most important blessing our constitution recognizes. It must be defended by every generation. My first priority is ensuring that the federal government is answerable to the people.
  • An America first agenda that seeks energy independence and national sovereignty in business, finance and border security.
  • Fight for accountability of those who serve through eliminating government service unions and prohibit market trading by members of congress.
The sovereignty of the individual, their home, family, and property are the essential building blocks of a free and open society. As such I am passionate about reducing the size and scope of the federal government in the lives of it's citizens. Reducing the power of the IRS and Dept. of Education and returning the fiduciary and regulatory duties to the states is paramount to me.
Jesus Christ is the prime example of life I try to emulate. Politically I look to Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, and Rand Paul.
George Orwell's 1984. That and "Animal Farm" are the precise reminder of the forces of human nature that every elected official should be resisting.
Wisdom that comes from an understanding of the human condition and the struggles of real people learned over decades of serving people.
To represent the freedom of your constituents as enumerated in the constitution.
As an example of God's grace and the American dream.
The fall of Saigon in 1975. I was 8 years old and my father and six uncles and cousins had served there so it was a daily discussion in my home.
Commercial fisherman and I kept it for 3 years until I joined the Army.
Bible, because it transformed my life.
"Lord there's nothing better than you"
No, it should be 4 years with a 12 year term limit.
Term limits are an imperfect answer to the corruption we see in congress, though a necessary measure to limit the political machine avarice.
A mother from my church being forcibly removed by deputies from a school board meeting for not wearing a mask as she fought for her son's football team to not be masked in a game. Not only was common sense and science on her side but it served as a catalyst for me to want to represent regular working class Americans like her.
Too many that my 6 kids tell me weekly.
Compromise should be centered on the realm of ideas. The best ideas should have a chance to rise to the top and then personal desires are seconded to the best solutions.
