Candidate Connection

Fahria Khan completed Ballotpedia's Candidate Connection survey. The survey questions appear in bold and are followed by Khan's responses.

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

Equity - Treating students equitably means that each student is entitled to receive the support and resources necessary to be successful. Innovation - We must embrace innovation and out-of-the-box thinking in our classrooms so that our students can compete and thrive in a global marketplace. Mental Health - A successful student is a well-rounded, happy student. Our students suffer more from stress, anxiety, and depression than children in past generations. We, as a community, must acknowledge this problem and work together to fix this for the sake of our children.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about ensuring that all of our students have a safe schools where all students have access to equal opportunities to be college and career ready.
