Kristi Thibaut was a member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 133. Thibaut assumed office in 2009. Thibaut left office in 2010.
Thibaut (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Harris County Commissioners Court to represent District 3 in Texas. Thibaut lost in the Democratic primary on March 3, 2020.
Biography
Thibaut's professional experience includes working as a fundraiser for the American Heart Association, legislative aide to state Representative Judy Hawley, executive director of the Texas Youth Hunting Association, and at Continental Airlines. She was a founding member of the Houston Democratic Forum and a volunteer with the Houston Kiwanis Club.[1]

Thibaut ran for re-election in District 133 and lost. She was unopposed in the March 2 Democratic primary and was defeated by Republican Jim Murphy in the November 2 general election.[3]

On November 4, 2008, Thibaut won election to the Texas House of Representatives from the 133rd District, receiving 20,219 votes ahead of Republican Jim Murphy (19,722).[4] She raised $446,011 for her campaign; Murphy raised $425,800.[5]
