Elections
2015
The city of Jacksonville, Florida, held elections for mayor and city council on May 19, 2015. A primary took place on March 24, 2015. Because one candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the primary election for the at-large group 4 seat, its general election was canceled. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 16, 2015. All 19 city council seats were up for election.[2]
In the primary election for the at-large group 4 seat, incumbent Greg Anderson (R) defeated Juanita Powell-Williams (D).[3][4]
