Campaign website
Garza’s campaign website stated the following:
“ |
Border Security The alarming increase in crime and fatal fentanyl overdoses has become a matter of urgency that cannot be ignored. Experiencing the border issues firsthand, I will present the truth instead of spreading false information. I will present practical solutions to safeguard our communities against the ongoing invasion. Farming and Ranching Rights Farmers and ranchers are the backbone of our country, yet continue to face injustices every day. They suffer losses and continued damages due to weak federal regulations. I am committed to protecting the rights of farmers and ranchers throughout our nation by advocating for reasonable regulations and by supporting legislation that contributes to their success. Second Amendment Rights It's no secret that our Second Amendment Rights are under constant threat. We need only look to history to see the disastrous effects of disarming citizens and how injustice, chaos, and unrest inevitably follow. I strongly support the right to bear arms and will tirelessly uphold and defend our Second Amendment rights. Economic Growth Throughout history, the oil and gas industries have proven to be critical drivers of our nation's economy. Unfortunately, these sectors have faced constant criticism and challenges while inflation persists and communities suffer. In light of this, it's essential to reinvigorate business in our nation and bring back jobs. We must support the oil and gas industries while pursuing a sustainable future to ensure long-term economic prosperity. Support Law Enforcement Our brave and hard-working law enforcement officers work tirelessly to ensure our safety are facing daily obstacles that jeopardize their well-being and reputation. It is critical to support law and order to keep our communities safe while holding individuals accountable, regardless of their status, and to take action to restore law and order across our nation. The law enforcement authorities have a constitutional obligation to ensure that this nation's laws are enforced, and their duties must not be obstructed. Education Our education system is failing our students, and the neglect of taking decisive action has caused many educators to walk away from their careers. Politicized social distractions are hindering students from attaining skills that would allow them to reach their professional goals. Providing quality education for all is a top priority, which means advocating for higher education, increased vocational training, and ensuring that every child has an equal opportunity to learn and thrive.[2] |
