For too long, we have been pushed under the rug. It is time to focus on our small towns and communities to bring businesses and people back. It is time to help the people of rural Kansas.
- We must champion and fund our rural education systems correctly. Rural schools are the backbone of many communities. We must invest in our youth by investing in our schools and educators.
- We need to address our future. We must change the conversation from preparing our best and brightest to leave, to preparing our best and brightest to come home. We must invest in our next generation, invest in our small towns, and champion our industry and agriculture that flourishes here. There is no more room for negativity. We must be optimistic and positive. We have to bring this change to Topeka. Topeka will not bring it to us.
