A proud native of California and resident of Novato, California, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges and opportunities that our community faces. My journey began with a bachelor's degree in economics from San Diego State University. My husband Walter and I own and operate Vintage Vehicles in downtown Novato.
This venture has not only been a labor of love but a direct line to the experiences of local entrepreneurs. I currently serve as a board member of the Novato Downtown Business Association. Being a small business owner in a town like Novato is more than just commerce; it's about the dreams and ambitions that define our community. I proudly serve as the President of the Novato Republican Women Federated, a CAGOP Delegate and a member of The Rock Calvary church.
These roles enable me to advocate for the values and concerns that resonate across our district. I have two remarkable adult children, one pursuing her dreams at Vanguard University and the other establishing roots in Chico, California.
  • I want to restore our economy by reducing spending, lowering taxes and making this a state that companies want to do business in.
  • I want to restore safety in our beautiful state. Crime is a growing problem that affects us all. I want to live in a state where we don’t have to lock up the shampoo in drug stores to keep people from stealing it. We deserve a state where shoplifters can be arrested, where drug dealers can’t do business in broad daylight on our city streets and where cops and courts can do their jobs.
  • I want to restore housing so everyone has a place to live. All over our state, we have people living in cars and tents lining the sidewalks and bike paths. We need to get people the care they need and get them off the streets. In short, I want to Restore California!
I favor limiting the size and scope of government to emphasize individual freedoms and personal responsibility. Armed with my background in economics, I will seek lower taxes, balanced budgets and prudent spending. Environmental decisions must be based on free-market principles and sound science, not politically motivated giveaways. We must make sure that our freedoms are never threatened again as they were during the Covid pandemic. It’s important that we have a strong military. I want to live in a society of traditional family values and religious freedom. I support the right to bear arms.
Margaret Thatcher. She served as British prime minister longer than anyone else in the last century. She was brilliant at compromise and could also be tough. As prime minister, she refused to have a chef. She prepared dinner for her husband every night. And she helped develop soft-serve ice cream!
I’m a fighter who is willing to work hard to help the people of my district.
I don’t discriminate or play favorites. As a conservative, I want to conserve resources, air, water and money. That means making unpopular decisions at times.
Working hard, listening to constituents, having principles and being fair to everyone.
I remember the Iran hostage crisis. I was seven years old and I recall my mom being very upset. I also remember it was a reason that Ronald Reagan was elected President.
Babysitting, then I got an actual W-2 job at Ross Dress for less at age 16. I had to get a work permit signed by my parents.
I love the Jack Reacher series because Jack knows right from wrong and is not afraid to protect the innocent and fight for justice.
“Why Can't We Be Friends?” by War
It certainly can be. However, at this time we have a broken political system that is in desperate need of new ideas.
The U.S. has a greater responsibility than any other country to deal with climate issues. We should take a free-market approach to this problem and be careful not to throw money at “green” policies that don’t work. We need to rein in spending, get control of our southern border, rebuild our infrastructure and crack down on crime. Only then can our nation begin to heal. We need to once again be a nation that makes things. We import too much from China. We are no longer educating our young people to be successful, self-sufficient adults. Surveys show that when the citizens of the world are asked what they think of the U.S., the most commonly cited emotion is fear, a sign that the recklessness of our Washington elites has severely damaged our reputation.
Good idea. Many of our representatives in Congress have outlived their usefulness in Washington.
Knock knock.

Who’s there?
Boo
Boo who?

Don’t cry, it’s only a joke.
Yes, but we need to ask ourselves what it means to compromise. Every day we compromise in marriage, at work, at school and in our civic organizations. Compromise means we find a win-win solution. Each person gives a little and gets a little so that we can move forward and be productive. Sometimes, we give up something in the moment and then the other person gives up something later. When one side is doing most of the giving and the other side is doing most of the taking, it doesn’t work.
Drain the swamp pac
