Farrell ran for election to the 7th Judicial District.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 24.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Karen Ostrye. [1] 

Education

Farrell receieved his undergraduate degree in management information systems, with a minor in English, from the University of Notre Dame. In 1988, he graduated from the Lewis and Clark Law School with his J.D., and he also holds a master's degree in maritime law from Tulane University.[2]

Career

Farrell has spent his career as a trial attorney in Oregon, Washington, Washington D.C., Ohio, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands.[3]
