Tracy Collier-Nix
Tracy Collier-Nix was a district court judge for the 67th District Court in Michigan. She was appointed to the court by Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D) in November 2007 and retired from the bench on April 14, 2017. Collier-Nix originally served on the 68th District Court, which was merged into the 67th District in January 2016.[1][2][3][4]
Collier-Nix passed away on June 25, 2019.[5]
Education
Collier-Nix received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from the Wayne State University Law School.[2]
Career
Before her appointment to the 68th District Court, Collier-Nix served as the director for the City of Flint's Civil Service Commission. She also previously served as an affirmative action officer for Genesee County and as a part-time executive director for the Congress of Flint School Administrators.[2]
