Joseph Evans
Joseph Evans was a Seventh Judicial District judge for Becker County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position on November 19, 2007. His final term expired on January 2, 2017.[1][2]
Education
Evans received his B.A. degree from the University of Colorado in 1973 and his J.D. degree from the University of Washington in 1976.[1]
Career
Evans began his legal career in 1976 as an attorney with Benshoof, Hummel, Sinclair, et al and as an Assistant Becker County Attorney. In 1994, he was promoted to Becker County Attorney. He left the private practice in 2001 but continued as a county attorney until his judicial appointment in 2007.[1]
2010 election
Evans was re-elected after running unopposed.[3]
