John Burnett (Missouri)
John Burnett (Democratic Party) was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 40. Burnett assumed office in 2003. Burnett left office in 2011.
Burnett (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Jackson County Legislature to represent District 2 At-Large in Missouri. Burnett lost in the Democratic primary on August 7, 2018.
Burnett is a former Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives. He represented District 40 from 2003 to 2011.
Biography
Burnett has worked as an attorney. He is a Vietnam veteran and earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law, B.A. in political science from University of Missouri - Kansas City, and AA in Liberal Arts from Penn Valley Community College.
Burnett has been a member of Helping Hands of Goodwill Board of Directors, Holy Cross School Board, Saint Anthony'ss Catholic Church, Saint Mary's High School, and Vietnam Veterans of America. He is married and has 3 children.[1]
