John W. Bowers was a 2014 candidate for the 26B Judicial District of the Seventh Division of the Superior Court in North Carolina. He filed for election on August 4, 2014.[1]

General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 27.4 percent of the vote. He competed against David Kelly, Eric A. Montgomery, and Carla Archie. [1]

Bowers received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1993 and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1997.[2]
