J. Roland Reid is a judge for the Haywood County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. He is based out of Brownsville and also has jurisdiction in the Haywood County Juvenile Court. He has served in this position since 1993 and was re-elected in 1994, 1998, 2006, and 2014. His current eight-year term ends in 2022.[1][2]

Education

Reid received his B.S. degree in agriculture from the University of Tennessee in 1981 and his J.D. from the University of Memphis in 1986.[3]

Career

Following his graduation from law school in 1986, Reid worked as a private practice lawyer in Brownsville until he was appointed to the court in 1993.[3]
