John Lovett

John Lovett is a judge for the San Jacinto County Court in Texas. He was elected in 2014, effective January 1, 2015, for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[1]

Lovett ran for election to the San Jacinto County Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 35.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Laddie McAnally and Nick Carter.
Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, Lovett faced McAnally in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. He won, earning 50.2% of the vote.
General: He defeated Fritz Faulkner in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 53.1 percent of the vote.

Education
Lovett earned a B.S. in animal science from Texas A&M University in 1989.[4]
Career
Lovett spent over twenty years in the financial services industry, thirteen of which were spent with Raymond James Financial Services as an investment adviser and security broker.[4]
