Ramiro Areces
Ramiro Areces is a judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court. His current term ends on January 2, 2029.
Areces won re-election for judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court outright in the general election on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
He was appointed to the circuit court by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on December 17, 2019.[1]
Areces is a former judge on the Miami-Dade County Court, Domestic Violence Division, in Florida.[2]
Education
Areces received his J.D. degree from the St. Thomas University School of Law in 1988.[3]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Areces worked as a solo practitioner and as an attorney with Jorden Burt, LLP.[4]
