Sharon M. LoVallo is a judge of the Erie County Family Court in New York. Her current term ends on December 31, 2031.

LoVallo (Republican Party, Democratic Party, Conservative Party, Working Families Party, Integrity Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Erie County Family Court in New York. She won in the general election on November 2, 2021.

Education

LoVallo received her B.A. (Communications) and J.D. degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1990 and 1994, respectively.[1][2]

Career

LoVallo began her career in 1993 as an attorney for the law firm of Goldman, Costa, Getman & Biryla. In 1996, she left to join the Erie County District Attorney's Office, where she worked as an Assistant District Attorney until 2003. In this position, she served in the Buffalo City Court Bureau from 1996 to 1997, on the Erie County Grand Jury from 1997 to 2000 and as an Arson Prosecutor of the Erie County Prosecution Bureau from 2000 to 2003. She then joined the Buffalo City Court in 2003. She was also named an Acting County Court Judge assigned to the Domestic Violence part of the City Court in 2004. In 2007, she was assigned to the Family Court as an Acting Judge. She was elected to the Family Court in 2011.[1][2]
