Frank Niceley (b. March 3, 1947) is a Republican member of the Tennessee State Senate, representing District 8. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012.

Niceley served in the Tennessee House of Representatives from 1988 to 1992 and 2005 to 2012.

Biography

Niceley earned his BS from the University of Tennessee in 1969. He has worked as a managing partner, farmer, and businessman.

Niceley ran in the 2012 election for Tennessee State Senate District 8. Niceley defeated Jeffrey D. Brantley, Cynthia Bundren Jackson, Hobart L. Rice, and Michael Williams in the Republican primary on August 2, 2012. He was unchallenged in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]

Niceley was re-elected to the 17th District Seat in 2010. He defeated Democrat Mike Dockery in the general election on November 2, 2010. He was unopposed in the August 5 primary.[4][5]
