Pat Apple is a Republican member of the Kansas State Senate, representing District 37 since 2013. He previously represented District 12 from 2005 to 2013. He was previously involved in the Board of Education for the Unified School District 416 (1991-2003). From 2003 to 2005, he was a Miami County Commissioner for District 4.

Apple won re-election in the 2012 election for Kansas State Senate District 37. Apple defeated Daniel B. Campbell and House incumbent Charlotte O'Hara in the August 7 Republican primary and was unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6][7]
