Alan Beckoff
Alan Beckoff is a judge for the Kings County Family Court in New York. He was appointed to this position in 2008 and was reappointed in 2009, 2011, and 2021.[1][2]
Education
Beckoff received his A.B. degree from Lafayette College in 1978 and his J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1981.[1]
Career
Beckoff began his career in 1982 working as an attorney for the New York City Human Resources Administration and the Department of Finance. He then worked as an attorney for the N.Y.C. Law Department from 1987 to 2008. He was appointed an interim judge of the New York City Civil Court in September of 2008 and was appointed to the Family Court the following December.[1][3]
