Albert Babcock is a judge of the Orphans Court of St. Mary’s County in St. Mary's County, Maryland.[1] He was elected on November 4, 2014.[2]

Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 30.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Michael R. White (Maryland) and incumbent Judge Dalton Wood. All 3 candidates ran unopposed in the primary.
General: He faced Michael R. White (Maryland), and incumbent judges, Linda Dean, William Miles Mattingly, and Dalton Wood in the general election on November 4, 2014, and won with 18.6 percent of the vote. Candidates competed for three open seats.[3][4]
