Aleta Hacker
Aleta Hacker was the judge of Texas District 326.[1] She was first elected to the bench in May 1985. On August 9, 2013, Hacker announced that she would retire at the end of her term on December 31, 2014.[2]

Hacker was re-elected to the Texas District 326 after running unopposed.[3]
Education
Hacker received her undergraduate degree from Columbus College in 1971 and her J.D. from Baylor Law School in 1977.[2]
Career
Hacker was an attorney in private practice before her appointment to the bench. She held positions at several firms, including Wilson and Wilson and Glandon, Erwin, Scarborough, Baker, Choate and Arnot. Hacker began her career as an assistant district attorney in Taylor County. Before her legal career, Hacker worked as an elementary teacher for two years.[2]
