Angela Mansfield
Angela Mansfield is a former Democratic member of the Indianapolis City Council in Indiana, previously representing District 2. She was elected to the council in 2003.[1]
Mansfield was a 2015 Democratic candidate for District 1 of the Indianapolis City Council in Indiana.
Elections
2015
The city of Indianapolis, Indiana, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. A partisan primary election took place on May 5, 2015. The filing deadline for major party candidates who wished to run in this election was February 6, 2015. The filing deadline for independent or minor party candidates was July 15, 2015.[2] Twenty-five city council seats were up for election. Indianapolis's four at-large seats were not up for election, because those seats were scheduled to expire at the end of 2015.[3]
In the Democratic primary election for District 1, LeRoy Robinson defeated Angela Mansfield.[4] Brian Jones (R) filed to run after the primary. Robinson defeated Jones in the general election.[5] Incumbent Jose M. Evans (R) did not run for re-election.[6]
