Ann Rabbitt
Ann Rabbitt (Republican Party) was a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 98. Rabbitt assumed office on January 1, 2013. Rabbitt left office on December 31, 2013.
Rabbitt (Republican Party) ran for election to the New York State Senate to represent District 42. Rabbitt lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Rabbitt also ran in the 2018 election as a Conservative Party, Independence Party, and Reform Party candidate.
Rabbitt previously represented District 97 in the state Assembly from 2005 to 2013. She ran for District 98 in the 2012 election. She resigned from the Assembly at the end of 2013 to take the position of clerk for Orange County.[1]
Rabbitt's political experience includes being a councilwoman and a deputy supervisor for the Town of Warwick. She was also the deputy mayor and trustee for the Village of Greenwoood Lake.
Biography
Rabbitt's professional experience includes being the owner and operator of O'Hare's Pub.[2]

Rabbitt ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 98. She ran unopposed in the Republican primary on September 13, 2012. She also ran on the Independence Party of New York State ticket. She defeated Gerard T. McQuade, Jr. in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4][5]

Rabbitt ran unopposed in the September 14 Republican primary. She defeated Myrna Kemnitz (D) in the general election on November 2.[6] In addition to her slot on the Republican Party ticket, Rabbitt was also listed as a candidate of the Independence Party of New York State and the Conservative Party.

On November 4, 2008, Rabbitt won re-election to the New York State Assembly, District 97, defeating opponent Jerome Sommer (D).
