Anne Gue Jones
Anne Gue Jones is a family court judge for the First Judicial Circuit. The First Judicial Circuit has jurisdiction in Calhoun, Dorchester, and Orangeburg counties of South Carolina.[1] She was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in February 2001.[2] She was re-elected in February 2019.[3]
Education
Jones received her undergraduate degree in history from Furman University in 1987 and her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1990.[2]
Career
Jones began her legal career as a staff attorney for the South Carolina Supreme Court. She then practiced law with the firm of Bryant, Fanning & Shuler until her election to the court in 2001.[2]
