This measure sought to continue the current rate of sales tax, one cent, being collected by the school district until 2029. This measure will not increase or decrease taxes, the sales tax would have continued even if this measure was defeated, but the school would not have received the funds from it. Infrastructure and building improvements will be made with the tax money collected.[2]
