A Benton County Sewer District Property Tax question was defeated on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in Benton and Morgan Counties, which are in Missouri.
If approved, this measure would have authorized the Benton County Sewer District to assessed on the county taxes of the property within the district with regard to the indebtedness of the district.[1]

Text of the question:
“ | Shall the Benton County Sewer District #1 assess on the county taxes of the property within the district, all indebtedness incurred by the voters of the district to, acquire, construct, improve and extend a sewerage system and the cost of the operation and maintenance and all future extensions and expansions of said system and the principal of the interest of the districts revenue bonds, and that the revenue bonds shall be paid by the sewer users of the district.[1][2] | ” |
