Betsy Gossens
Margaret E. Strolle "Betsy" Gossens was an assistant superior court judge in Addison County, Vermont. Gossens was elected to the court in 2006 and assumed office in 2007. She was re-elected on November 2, 2010, to a four-year term commencing on February 1, 2011. Gossens did not run for re-election in 2014 and stepped down from the bench at the end of her last term on January 31, 2015.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Education
Gossens received her M.S. in physical therapy from the University of Vermont in 2002.[7][8]
Career
- 2007-2015: Assistant judge, Vermont Superior Courts
- 1976-2006: Pediatric physical therapist, Addison County Home Health and Hospice
Gossens worked almost five decades overall as a physical therapist.[6][9]

Elections
2010
Gossens received 71.2 percent of the vote in the primary election. She then won re-election to the Vermont Superior Courts with 38.61 percent of the vote in the general election on November 2, 2010.[11][3]
