Betty Owen Stinson
Betty Owen Stinson is a justice of the Bronx County Supreme Court, Civil Term in the 12th Judicial District of New York. She was elected to this position in 2001.[1][2]
Education
Stinson received her BSBA degree from Auburn University in 1964 and her JD degree from the University of Florida School of Law in 1967.[1]
Career
Stinson began her career in 1980 as a self-employed attorney. In 1986, she became a New York principal law secretary. She was then elected to the New York City Civil Court in Bronx County in 1997. She served in that position until her election to the Supreme Court in 2001.[1]
