I have lived in Kendall County for a little over 10 years with my wife and two sons. I believe local government works best when it is transparent, practical, and focused on real-life impact. My family lives here, my children attend school here, and like many residents, I have watched our county grow rapidly while trying to preserve what makes our community strong.

I decided to run for County Board because growth is happening whether we plan for it well or not. Data centers, housing proposals, infrastructure demands, and rising costs affect everyone and I believe the County Board must take a more active role in coordinating with townships, school districts, and businesses so decisions are not made in isolation. Good governance means asking hard questions, reviewing the numbers carefully, and making sure new development supports long-term stability rather than short-term gain.

As a parent, I care deeply about responsible budgeting, public safety, and making sure working families can afford to stay here. As a resident, I believe we deserve clear communication and a seat at the table before major decisions are finalized. I am running to bring thoughtful oversight, fiscal responsibility, and a commitment to practical solutions that strengthen the county for the next generation.
  • Growth continues throughout the county. The question is whether we manage it well. I will prioritize stronger coordination between the County, townships, and planning bodies so development decisions are aligned, infrastructure keeps pace, and residents are not left reacting after the fact. Smart growth requires collaboration, transparency, and long-term planning that protects both taxpayers and our quality of life.
  • When development moves forward, our local workforce should benefit. I support policies and agreements that prioritize local unions, skilled trades, and area contractors so major projects create real economic opportunity for Kendall County families. Development should strengthen our middle class, expand career pathways, and ensure that taxpayer-supported incentives return value to our community.
  • County decisions directly impact our schools. I will work proactively with local school districts to identify grant opportunities and coordinate early on projects that affect enrollment, transportation, and services. In particular, I want to expand collaboration around mental health resources so students and families have access to support. Strong schools and strong local government must work hand in hand.
I am most passionate about real transparency and public access to information. Posting agendas and recordings is not enough if residents cannot easily find or understand them. Most people cannot attend hours of meetings during the workday or late at night, and few have time to read dense minutes filled with procedural language. County government should present information clearly, organize it logically, and explain decisions in plain language. Transparency should reduce barriers, not create them.
