Brian K. Tester
Brian K. Tester was a bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, District of Puerto Rico. He joined the court on November 13, 2006, and left office when his term ended on November 12, 2020.[1][2]
Education
Judge Tester earned his bachelor's degree from Oral Roberts University and his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University.[3]
Career
Prior to being appointed to the bench, Judge Tester practiced as an associate at a small firm in California until 1993. He then relocated to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he worked for a Chapter 7 trustee. He was later employed at a small firm focusing on Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters before joining the U.S. Department of Justice in the Office of the U.S. Trustee. Finally, in 1999, Judge Tester began working for Fiddler Gonzalez & Rodriguez, where he managed the firm's bankruptcy group.[1]
