Bridgette Campbell Glover is a judge for the Cobb County State Court in Georgia.[1] She joined the court on October 26, 2000, and she is the first African American appointed to the bench in Cobb County.[2] She was unopposed for re-election in 2014 and her current term expires in 2018.[3]

Education

Glover earned a degree in political science from Valdosta State College in 1982. She earned a degree in management information systems from the University of Georgia in 1986, and earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law in 1989.[2]

Career

Glover began her legal career as an assistant solicitor for seven years with the Cobb County Solicitor General’s Office in Marietta, Georgia. She then went into private practice with the firm Cook, Pugh & Barrett. On October 26, 2000, Glover became a judge for the Cobb County State Court.[2]
