Brien Sheahan
Brien Sheahan is a former member of the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC). He was appointed to the ICC by Gov. Bruce Rauner (R) on January 16, 2015. The Illinois Senate confirmed Sheahan's appointment in February 2015.[1]
Rauner also designated Sheahan chairman of the ICC. He replaced former ICC Chair Doug Scott (D).[2] Sheahan was replaced as chair by Carrie Zalewski (D) on April 15, 2019.[3]
On June 4, 2018, Sheahan was appointed to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Nuclear Energy Advisory Committee.[4]
Biography
Sheahan served as legal counsel on the transition committee for Gov. Rauner prior to his appointment. He was also the director of government affairs for Navistar, Inc. from 2012 to 2014. His experiences in public service include two years (1998-2000) as legal counsel for the commission and 10 years as a member of the DuPage County Board (2002-2012).[5]

Sheahan served as Illinois Commerce Commission chair from January 2015 to April 15, 2019. He was appointed by Gov.
